The future of Birney Park is taking shape.
The future of Birney Park is taking shape.
Thanks to a careful eye on the past.
At the corner Fairview and Oberlin, something special is coming to life.
What once lived only in sketches and plans now stands in its true form: The Brightbury—centerpiece of a traditionally inspired, vibrantly realized new neighborhood—has risen above the tree line of Hayes Barton and is visible within the historic fabric that surrounds it.
The Brightbury rising.
To get a closer look at what’s underway, we recently spent time on site with Project Manager Justin Hime, walking through the building as it evolves from frame to finished homes. The accompanying video captures this moment where vision and reality intersect.
The structure is fully enclosed, with windows in place, exterior doors being set, and roof nearing completion. Mechanical and electrical rough-ins are well underway. Brickwork begins shortly, and several residences are being prepped for sheetrock and interior finishes.
Residences spoken for.
The speed of construction is equaled only by the pace of home sales. With eleven residences now spoken for, life in The Brightbury is no longer theoretical but measured in light-filled rooms, beautifully framed views, and carefully considered floorplans.
Across the neighborhood, similar momentum continues. The first City Home has been reserved, with construction slated to begin in April. Plans for The Caroline and The Elizabeth are advancing as well.

Seeing is believing.
As important as these milestones are, Birney Park has always been conceived as more than a collection of residences. It’s designed to feel rooted from the start, shaped by local history and classical architecture, surrounded by rich, layered landscapes, and motivated by the simple pleasure of daily connection.
For those who have been following our progress, as well as those new to the neighborhood, this is a meaningful time to visit. Walking the site, stepping into the common spaces, and seeing the progress firsthand offers a clarity that no rendering can fully convey.
We look forward to welcoming you.
